Former president Mahama has commemorated a year of being in opposition through a special post on Facebook.
John Dramani Mahama, who lost the 2016 elections becomes the first sitting president in the 4th republic to have lost his seat to an opposition party.
But writing on his Facebook page, John Dramani Mahama called on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to improve on preparations for a wild come-back in 2020. According to him, a unified party is all that is needed to win back power.
"Let’s continue to use the opportunity we are presented with, to work hard and diligently towards the reorganization of our party as we prepare for the next elections in 2020," he stated.
John Mahama also took the time to thank all party executives for their contributions to ensuring a heated political uprising during the elections.
