There was a lot of laughter at the 'Stars in Worship' concert held on Saturday at the House of Miracles Ministries auditorium at Madina Estates, when Kumawood actor, Samuel Yaw Dabo took the stage to preach the word of God.
Preaching on the vainness of worldly things, the diminutive actor put across an important advise to Christians to lead Christ-like lives in order to make it to heaven.
But the funny way and manner he delivered his message which he interlaced with some English, got patrons giggling and laughing.
“We must be vigilant. It’s time to shine your eyes. The things of the world are vain. Have you asked yourself where your soul will be when you die? I’m an usher in my church. I’m nothing if I lose my life. The fame and everything is vanity,” he said as the audience burst into laughter.
The concert which was part ‘Stars In Worship’ a five-day December to Remember conference saw Ghanaian and Nigerian entertainment industry players taking turns to preach the gospel.
They included Nana Ama McBrown, Emelia Brobbey, Desmond Elliot, Chioma Chukwuka, Emeka Ike, Kumchacha, Aboki for Christ, Lucky Lawson, Great Ampong among others.
