The Greater Accra regional Police is set to interrogate the young man who allegedly stabbed an old Vandal to death over the weekend.
The suspect, George Osei, is currently in police grips for allegedly stabbing a former member of the University of Ghana Commonwealth Hall, Martin Tweneboah, to death.
The victim popularly known as Chief Tipsy, killed by angry George Osei, during a heated argument.
Chief Tipsy who was said to have been rushed to the Legon hospital after the incident passed away shortly as a result of multiple stab wounds.
Initial reports suggested that the suspect George Osei, is also a known member of University of Ghana Old Vandal.
However, the Old Vandals Association have distanced themselves from the suspect.
Speaking to Adom FM in Accra on Monday, the Greater Accra Regional police PRO, Afia Tenge disclosed in an interview that further investigations are still ongoing in the case.

“George Osei is in our custody assisting the police in investigations, when we are done with the investigations, we will arraigned him before court,” she said.
According to ASP Afia Tenge, George Osei told the police that he is an ‘associate vandal’ while the victim, the late Chief Tipsy, is a former chief of the hall.
“The victim has been identified as an old vandal while the suspect says he is an old vandal,” the police PRO said.
Meanwhile, Director of Affairs at the University of Ghana, Madam Stella Amoah says the university is saddened by the incident.
