YEN's readers debated on the issue of whether some women would refrain from wearing makeup on their wedding day, in exchange for GHc5 million.
The debate took place on YEN's Facebook page.
One lady was of the opinion that she prefers to be natural, and for that matter she has never used makeup before. There to make use of it on her wedding day, no matter the rewards was unimaginable.
In support of her stance, a man praised her for her devotion to natural beauty and wished all ladies would follow her example.
A second lady, supporting the first, asserted that there is no way she would change her face because of marriage.
Another was emphatic; "i love my natural face", she said. She added that she simply hated makeup.
Yet another argued that she was naturally beautiful, so she has no business with makeup.
Stating a case for the use of makeup on the special day, a lady stated that with or without makeup, she is beautiful, but would not mind using it on her wedding day.
To fuel that opposing stance, a lady supported by saying that he isn't a fan of makeup, but would not mind using it on her wedding day.
Whatever one's position is, the use of makeup has generated a lot of debate, especially with respect to the health implications involved.
That notwithstanding, the debate with respect to whether or not to use makeup on one's wedding day, may never end, especially when there is a GHc5 million bounty at stake.
