Ghanaian actress and television host, Joselyn Dumas, has opened up for the first time on the current gay right debate in Ghana.
According to the actress, being a homosexual is neither wrong nor right but she personally believes is a matter of choice.
Sharing her thoughts on her ‘Keeping it Real’ TV show, the actress said,“I wouldn’t say it’s right or wrong either, but I think it is a personal choice” .
A few weeks ago, President Nana Akufo-Addo, sparked a huge debate after he spoke to the Al-Jazeera Network on gay rights.
The President during the interview, maintained that legalizing gay rights is not on his current government agenda, how with a stronger coalition, the conversation may change in future.
President Akufo-Addo’s comment provoked an outrage from some religious groups and citizens across the country.
