Respected former Black Stars goalkeeper, Richard Olele Kingston, has issued threats to dump his current job as the goalkeepers’ trainer for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
According to Olele, he is being forced to part ways with the Black Stars due to lack of transparency at the football governing body, Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The former keeper who is clearly not happy about the GFA in an interview with Asempa FM, revealed that his football club, Emmanuel FC, is being denied justice by the GFA.
Olele in his explanations stated that the judicial body of the GFA is refusing to promote his club to the Division One league next season.
“I’m ready to follow this issue to the latter no matter what it takes. Even if it will take me to quit football and resign as goalkeeper’s trainer I will do it for the truth to come out,” Olele threatened.
Richard Kingston who was is not happy about the posture of the Ghana FA in his conversation, disclosed that he is not ready to work with an association or be a part of a system which is corrupt.
“It’s easy for me to quit because I can’t be part of a system which is not transparent. So I plead with those who will be in charge of this case to be unbiased”, he said.
