Thanks to the evolution in science over the years, people living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) have the opportunity to live with their loved ones without risk of infecting them.

Men and women who are HIV positive have been able to take treatments that give them the opportunity of starting their own families.

It was gathered that the risk of infection starts when an individual who is HIV positive moves to the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) stage.

A family has shown the world the benefit of early HIV treatment. A photo of a South African woman who is HIV positive with her husband and two adorable children has gone viral.

The happy family shared their story by showing placards displaying their HIV status in the viral photo.

In the photo the woman was seen displaying a placard that said HIV positive while the other members of her adorable family displayed placards that said HIV negative.

According to reports, some benefits of early HIV treatment include, control of the virus to rebuild immune system, preventing transmission from intercourse, allows women living with the virus to have healthy pregnancies and so on.

In this day and age it is perfectly safe for people living with HIV to have relationships and start a family.
