Singer of the popular “One Corner” song, Patapaa has waded into the controversy of an accident he is believed to have been involved in and has debunked some parts of the report.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz FM, the “One Corner” hit maker confirmed that indeed he and his manager were involved in an accident on the Okponglo-Legon road.
He however debunked some claims making rounds in the media that his brand new Corolla car hit two people as a result of the accident.
He recounted that he was returning from Abirem, a suburb of the Eastern Region after he had performed at a program over the weekend.
He went on to reveal that he lost control of his brakes which caused him to ram his car into a stationary car which was parked on the ear of the road.
He reiterated the fact that reports that he knocked down two people were untrue and the public should not give any attention to such false reports.
The Swedru-based musician however revealed that he had suffered a concoction after as a result of the impact which has left him coughing blood.
He said no one was injured in the accident as is being circulated on social media. He revealed that he feared that the bad PR he was getting with the fake report was going to affect his career.
Patapaa hit the music scene and became somewhat of an “instant sensation” with his hit song, “One Corner”.
The song was accompanied by a ‘crazy’ dance and got many people dancing and uploading their videos on social media.
