D-Black offers to give some fans GH 10,000 for Christmas

Ghanaian rapper and music producer, Desmond Blackmore, popularly known as D-Black, on Wednesday started a frenzy on social media, when he announced his intention to share GHC 10,000 with some of his fans.

D-Black posted via his Twitter account, that since Christmas was here, he wanted to make someone's festive season memorable.

He urged his fans to state how much they needed and what they planned to use it for, entreating them to be honest about their intentions.

Good morning all! Christmas almost here & I wanna extend a hand 2 make some people’s Christmas’ memorable. Not everyone has been fortunate. Wanna give away 10,000 ghc to some fans on my social media. Tell me what u need it for & how much. Be honest. Merry Christmas in advance,” the rapper posted.

His gesture was well received by fans, as a flurry of responses flooded his timeline with many people stating their needs and the amount required to solve them.

D-Black has been in the music business since 2009, starting off with hit singles such as Move with Kwaku- T and Breathe, also with Kwaku-T.

He has produced and recorded a number of popular hiplife songs, featuring some of Ghana’s biggest stars including Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Efya, E.L and R2Bees.

He owns the Black Avenue music label, which has signed some upcoming acts such as Wisa Greid and Singlet.
