Some students of Koforidua Technical School, (KOTEC) and the SDA Senior High School in the Eastern region clashed on Wednesday afternoon over girls.
According a report by Pulse.com.gh the incident happened when some male students of KOTEC allegedly went to the SDA SHS to chase girls.
This did not go down well with the male students from SDA SHS, so they confronted the boys from KOTEC leading to a heated argument.
The confrontation degenerated into physical exchanges, which led to students from both schools hurling stones and other missiles at each other.
But the police were called unto the scene by headmistress of SDA SHS, Hilda Yeboah. The arrival of the police led to law and order eventually.
Student rivalry is not new in Ghana. It exist amongst many schools in Ghana.
