- The Institute of Energy Security (IES), cost of crude is relatively low worldwide
The cost of petrol is expected to remain the same or maybe go down this festive season. This projection is according to the Institute of Energy Security (IES) which believes that petrol prices are doing very good across the world.
A statement signed by the head of research the institute, Richmond Rockson further states that the good performance of the Cedi against the dollar is also causing the price of crude to be stable.
As at the morning of December 12, 2017; total Gasoline and Gasoil impstatement signed by the head of research the institute, Richmond Rockson further states that the good performance of the Cedi against the dollar is also causing the price of crude to be stable.orted within the period under review was 172,153 metric tonnes, with Gasoil import being 134,603 metric tonnes, whilst 37,550 metric tonnes of Gasoline was discharged into terminals.
What this means for the ordinary Ghanaian is that they will not be a possible increase in transportation fares this Christmas which will also mean that the price of goods and service this holiday season will be relatively stable.
