Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo is in Abuja, Nigeria for the 52nd Ordinary Session of the Authority of heads of State and Government.
According to a statement from the presidency, the President was received at the VIP section of the Nnamdi Azikwie airport by Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Rashid Bawa and other High Commission officials in Nigeria.
The statement issued hinted that the President will push his Africa beyond aid agenda at the ECOWAS Summit.
He is also expected to reiterate his call and to push it through for adoption by his colleagues.
Also according to Starrfmonline.com, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Rashid also confirmed that the President will hold bilateral talks with some of his colleague Heads of State on the sidelines of the summit.
President Akufo-Addo will also visit Nigerian President, Mahamudu Buhari.
