Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician, Amakye Dede was among several personalities who took to the State House to mourn the late Asempa FM Journalist, Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong, KABA.
The musician who appeared with his full band performed his best songs to console mourners who were heartbroken by the death of KABA.
Though some family and friends of the late broadcaster were completely shuttered at the funeral grounds, the legendary musician managed to lift up their spirits through his songs.
Amakye Dede is no doubt one of Ghana’s best singers when it comes to highlife music.
His appearance on stage wiped tears from the faces of many mourners as KABA was laid in state at the forecourt of State House.
The popular Multimedia journalist lost his life after he was rushed to the Korle-Bu teaching hospital for an emergency care last month.
The journalist was said to have battled his life with diabetes before his sudden demise.
KABA left behind his young wife, Valentina and a seven months old baby girl. He was finally laid to rest Saturday, December 16, 2017.
