In a report by mynewsgh.com, the versatile actor declared that he would be back in full swing in the year 2018.
“I am coming back to the screens because as a landlord, I need to come and take over my house because those who took my place have left the room with a lot of cobwebs and I need to come and make things right in order to bring joy to homes like I used to during my hey days”, he told Kwame Adinkrah of Abusua FM.
Agya Koo was speaking on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Delegates Conference held in the Ashanti region on Sunday 17th December 2017.
In his opinion, those who continued from where he left off failed to do a good job, and as a result, Ghanaians have missed him.
He added that the Nigerian movie industry has taken over the movie industry on the continent. He stated that his return would bring back the lost glory of Ghana’s movie industry.
Agya Koo revealed that people have clamoured for his return and as such he needs to respond to their calls.
He however asked Ghanaians to remember him in prayers and support him in his bid to revive the industry.
