Actress Maame Serwaa born Clara Amoateng Benson has been on the receiving end of commiseration after the sad passing of her mother on December 7, 2017 after a short illness.

In a latest video to hit the internet, some well-wishers and sympathizers were seen consoling the popular Kumawood actress and her family over the loss of their mother.

The video showed the young actress and her family dancing as they wiped away their tears. Some of the people who were present at the One Week observation shared in their pain by dancing with them.

They were dressed in funeral clothing and moved their feet softly to the music that was being played in the background.

Many other actors and actresses especially from the Kumawood movie industry who are mainly based in Kumasi have visited the family house of the actress to share in her grief.

Some of the actors and actresses who have shown their support to the young actress include Yaw Dabo, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Tracey Boakye, Samuel Nyamekye and Apostle John Prah.

Maame Serwaa’s mother, Madam Rose Amoateng Benson, affectionately called Maa Rose passed on unto glory on Thursday, December 7, 2017 after a short illness. She died at the age of 48.

Maame Serwaa took to her Instagram account and shared a very heartbreaking tribute to her mother during the One Week observation in Atwima Koforidua in the Ashanti region on Sunday, December 17.

Maame Serwaa is believed to be one of Kumawood’s favorite teen actresses. She has starred in over 100 Kumawood-produced movies alongside some of the best names in the movie industry.
