Though reports are yet to be confirmed, the sighting of the naked scooter rider has caused outrage from some traditional leaders in the northern Ghanaian metropolis. According to a report by mynewsgh.com, the "naked rider" is reportedly in his thirties and hails from Changli, a suburb in the Tamale.

Details have it that the man's decision to take to his bike with nothing but his "birthday suit" was due to a dare. The young man reportedly told friends that he could ride his motorbike in the main streets of Tamale, and that anyone who doubted him should place a bet.

One man told the daring young man to go buy food in the most populated area of the metropolis, then return to collect a GHC50 bet. This appears to be the straw that broke the camel's back. The young man stripped off his clothes and was off to buy the food.

He fulfilled his end of the bargain amidst stares from road uses, and reportedly received his prize. Although unfortunately he's also gained the attention of the Tamale Dakpema, who's summoned the man's parents in an attempt to have him face consequences for his actions.
