According to Mr. Asamoah Baidu, claims that winners of the beauty pageant were required to sign contracts without legal representation as false. The Miss Ghana Public Relations Officer told a completely different story with regards to the amount of counsel the contestants receive.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM's Daybreak, Mr. Asamoah Baidu not only said that contestants are given adequate legal representation, but that the organizing company even gets the ladies's parents involved in the process.
