Workers of Power Hydraulics Limited, a Unilever distributor said to be located on the Kasoa Ofaakor new market road have experienced what could be described as one of the most shocking treatments ever meted out to employees.
Following a series of thefts at the within the company, workers were allegedly forced to swear oaths before a spiritualist in order to find the culprits.
In a video published on ameyawdebrah.com, a fetish priestess is seen chanting incantations while workers stood in line to take turns to prove rheir innocence.
The back story to the video is that, the company's management, after the occurrence of a series of thefts and amidst the suspicion of an insider job, brought in the fetish priestess to find who amongst its workers was responsible.
Staff of the company, YEN.com.gh understands, had always pointed to the lack of property security at the workplace and thus could not be held accountable when any such cases of theft came up.
So when thieves recently broke into one of the company's trucks, which was supposed to go out on delivery the next morning, the management decided it was about time to act
And they acted in the most unconventional way possible.
