-Second Lady of Ghana fetes inmates and officers in local prison
-Inmates and officers were seen in queues being served with food and drinks
The Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Samira Bawumia, joined a number of people on a visit to the Akuse Local Prison to wine and dine with inmates and officers in commemoration of the Christmas season.
In a video that was posted on the Facebook page of the Second Lady, many of the inmates were seen smiling as they were treated to assorted meals and drinks.
The Second Lady was seen beaming with smiles as she dished out food to some of the inmates and officers of the Prison.
Samira Bawumia has been touted by many people for her elegance and tremendous sense of fashion that attracts a lot of admiration whenever she steps out.
She has been involved in many projects which are hugely humanitarian in nature ever since she assumed office.
In one of her visits to the United Kingdom, she was named ambassador for the United Nations' Foundation Global Alliance for Clean Cook stoves.
She was also made her presence felt at the funeral ceremony of late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong popularly known as Kaba.
Samira Bawumia was also the center of attention at the recent Delegates’ Conference of the New Patriotic Party which was held in the Ashanti Region over the weekend due to her elegance.
