Popular Ghanaian hiplife musician, Michael Owusu Addo, widely known as Sarkodie has disclosed that being a family man has affected his delivery.
According to Sarkodie, he becoming a father has not hindered his creativity, but rather has made him more responsible.
Speaking on Starr Drive on Wednesday, the rapper stated that despite the challenges as a father, he has to stand tall and keep up with the expectations of his fans.
“I need to own-up to things I say. So, I can’t be hypocritical as at now…it definitely had effect but I think it is good,” he added.
Touching on his perceived arrogant posture to the media, the ‘Highest’ clarified that the perception goes beyond the media but the story is not as bad as people brand him.
“I think people; when they see me they feel like there is a wall that they need to break before they get to me. I think that is the vibe that people get and it might be true…I think different people from different walks of life have the same experience but personally, it is not true,” the musician said.
Sarkodie is set for his sellout show Rapperholic concert which comes off Tuesday December 25.
