Minister for power, Boakye Agyarko, is assuring of stable power supply during the Christmas holidays.
The minister has stated that Ghana has enough power to sustain stable power from now till even the end of 2018 and beyond.
The Minister of Energy, Boakye Agyarko has assured Ghanaians that there will be no power interruptions during the Christmas season.
According to Mr Agyarko, there is enough power to sustain the whole country during the yuletide and into next year.
Speaking at the inauguration of Electricity Market Oversight Panel (EMOP), the minister stated that the needed foundation has been established to strengthen power production in the country.
The 11 member panel includes representatives from the Energy Commission, Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCO) among others.
