- A Plus has reportedly cried foul over what he sees as preferential treatment in the NPP
- He has wondered why Abronye DC has not been interviewed by the CID for his allegations against a presidential appointee.
Controversial former artist and member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwame A Plus, has cried foul at what he sees as preferential treatment in the government political party.
According to a report mynewsgh.com, Kwame A Plus is upset about the unfair way things are being handled in the ruling party. According to the report, Kwame A Plus believes the NPP's firebrand Brong Ahafo Youth Organizer, Kwame Baffoe, is being given preferential.
Kwame A Plus allegedly wondered why Kwame Baffoe - popularly known as Abronye DC - was not asked to appear before the Ghana Police Service's Criminal Investigations Department (CID) after accusing a presidential appointee.
“When I accused the two “hardworking” young men you spoke about in your Koforidua speech, you asked that we go to the CID. You even went to CHRAJ. Why haven’t you investigated Abronye’s alleged taking of bribes by NPP MPs to pass the tow levy? Why haven’t you investigated your regional minister who he is accusing of being corrupt," said A Plus.
Not too long ago Abronye DC petitioned the President to relieve Mr. Kwaku Asomoah Cheremeh for involving himself in what the firebrand NPP executive called "corrupt activities that have sallied the ruling party's reputation.
Among other allegations, Abronye DC accused the Regional Minister of buying a building via dubious means to the detriment of those affected by the notorious DKM micro-finance scandal.
"The Regional Minister has induced and has successfully manipulated his way out to succeed in purchasing the property that is story building facility of DKM... Court processes were forged and backdated to the detriment of the official liquidator,” said Abronye DC.

A Plus linked the situation to his accusation of two presidential staffers, and wondered why the issue has not been further probed. He went on to take a swipe at the ruling party.
”At Koforidua the president said; “Desperate attempts by the main opposition National Democratic Congress and the Minority in parliament to tag his government as corrupt will not work. Did the NDC use 2.000.000.00 to prepare the budget for the ministry? Is Abronye a member of the minority in parliament or NDC?" Wonderd Kwame A Plus.
