Member of Parliament (MP) for Takoradi, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, surprised many of his constituents after taking to the streets to celebrate Christmas in a rather awkward way.
The lawmaker marked the festive season by teaming up with masquerades to dance around the streets of Takoradi.
The MP – dressed in a unique attire – joyfully joined the in the show, leaving many of his constituents shocked and amused in equal measure.
They sang and danced to the cheer of a rousing crowd to happily mark the occasion.
Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah was elected MP for the Takoradi constituency during the 2016 elections after beating his other competitors.
The lawmaker appears to have a strong bond with his constituents and preferred not to be left out during the Christmas celebrations.
