Shatta Wale 'wins' at his first gig as MC at Rapperholic concert
Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, was one of the highlights of the fifth edition of award-winning rapper, Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert.

The concert which came off on December 25, at the Accra International Conference Centre, drew a large crowd of excited fans of Sarkodie and his impressive lineup of local and international musical acts.

Shatta Wale, aside his electrifying performances, also excelled at his role as MC along with popular radio and TV host, Jay Foley.

In a report by Enewsgh.com, Shatta Wale entertained the crowd with his charm and jokes, all to support his colleague, Sarkodie.

Other known stars that rocked the stage at the concert were Efya, Becca, Captain Planet, Article Wan, Kwesi Arthur, Obrafour, Joey B, Korede Bello and King Promise.

The concert follows the release of Sarkodie’s fifth studio album, The Highest, a few months ago, and features 18 songs with collaborations from other African acts including Big Narstie, Victoria Kimani, Korede Bello, Jesse Jags and Flavour, among others.

YEN earlier reported that Shatta Wale had charged whopping GHC 200,000 to perform at the Rapperholic concert.

Sarkodie, in earlier interview, explained how he was still ‘struggling’ to put the full amount together, but it looks like he managed to pull it together, just in time for the event.
