According to Hassan Ayariga, Shatta Wale is a good musician but his behaviour in recent times raises concerns.

The former APC presidential candidate made these statements when he served as a co-host on Joy FM’s Drive Time yesterday December 26, 2017.

In as much as I love Shatta Wale’s music, I am not happy with his behaviour in recent times, Hassan Ayariga stated according to a myjoyonline.report.

Making reference to the recent video in which the ‘Taking Over’ hit maker was seen firing gun shots in public, Mr Ayariga said Shatta Wale ought to know that he is an artiste and not a gangster.

Such a behaviour, Hassan Ayariga noted, affects the respect and fame the artiste has worked for over the years.

He thus condemned Shatta Wale for using weapons instead of bragging about his creativity.

“Stars are supposed to brag; not to use weapons. You are not a gangster, you are a pop star so don’t put yourself into the category of a gangster,” Hassan Ayariga advised.

Therefore, he advised the ‘Forgetti’ hit maker to shun all violent acts and keep working hard to excel.

My movement, Shatta Movement is doing well. But the sad thing is, recently he started doing something I don’t like but then, he is very good,” Hassan Ayariga said.

He was quick to add “Nevertheless, the politician said, “I love him. He is a young boy and I love his music.”

Asked by the host of the show if he would invite Shatta Wale to the Flagstaff House should he become president, the APC leader said there would be no need for that.

Hassan Ayariga explained that Shatta Wale had already been to the Flagstaff House and so he would just help to promote his music.
