The ceremony was held at the National Theatre yesterday, December 28.

Ebony who reigns as the only youngest artiste in the Ghana Music Industry, beat heavyweight musicians including Stonebowy; Samini; Mz Vee; Ras Kuuku and Blakk Rasta for the coveted Kwame Nkrumah BASS Artiste of the Year Award.

The Awards ran by Bull Haus Entertainment reviewed the works by nominees under year 2016.

A year that Ebony had just one hit song – ‘Kupe’ making it a bit difficult for some pundits to accept that she deserves that award but nonetheless she won.

Undoubtedly, Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, has fared very well in this year 2017.

Ebony, who proudly refers to herself as the 90sBadgyal has not reigned only in music but also in videos accompanying some of her songs.

All her releases from Sponsor, Date your Father, Poison, Hustle, Aseda and the latest hit Maame Hw3 have all performed very well on the airwaves.

Unsurprisingly, her video for ‘Maame Hw3’ garnered over one million views on Youtube in just one week!

This is unprecedented and Ebony herself has stated how excited she is over this enviable achievement.

She is determined to go far in her music career and this is evident by her hard work.

Another thing worth of recommendation on her part is the significant change in her choice of dressing.

Ebony has for the past months been castigated by the public for what they call indecent exposure on her part.
