Early this week, YEN.com.gh reported that gospel diva Joyce Blessing got involved in a ghastly accident.
The Zylofone Media artiste was reportedly travelling with her husband to perform at Kwahu as part of her lined-up Christmas performances.
Unfortunately, they had a car crash and their vehicle was completely mangled beyond repairs, according to reports.
Both husband and wife sustained serious injuries which led to their hospitalization.
However, news reaching YEN has it that Joyce Blessing is responding to treatment and making significant improvement in her recovering process together with her husband.
Others who were on also on board the vehicle and sustained injuries are also said to be recovering.
Joyce Blessing has some hit songs to her credit.
The songs include 'Heavy Price', ‘Monko Mo Akyi’ and ‘Kantamanto Nyame’.
She has been criticized recently for appearing to be too ‘secular’ than a gospel musician.
This follows her impressive performance on a stage mounted by secular artistes.
For instance, Joyce Blessings performed some secular songs at Stonebwoy’s Ashaiman to the World Concert and also at the S-Concert organized by GHONE.
Some gospel music enthusiast registered their displeasure with Joyce Blessings for ‘mingling’ with secular musician.
They also said she has not been anointed by God as a gospel singer and that was why she was behaving that way.
However, Joyce Blessing has said on many platforms that she would never stop performing secular songs because to her, that is another means of propagating the Bible’s message.
