President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo has said Ghanaians will witness a speedy delivery of his campaign promises in 2018.

According to the President, he has resolved to quicken the pace at which his government delivers on its 2016 electoral promises, stated a myjoyonline.com report.

The President made these comments during a visit to a technology exhibition organized by Kristo Asafo.

He said: "2017 I said I was a man in a hurry. But in 2018, we are coming with supersonic speed.".

Akufo Addo made his man-in-a-hurry comment during his first state of the nation address delivered in February 2017.

When he also stated that the times in which Ghanaians live demanded that the various problems being faced by Ghanaians are faced hurriedly.

Meanwhile, President Akufo Addo has touted himself as a better performing president than former president John Mahama.

The president has stated on many occasions that his government has achieved more in a year than the previous NDC government did in eight years.

President Akufo-Addo is on record as the first President to set up his team of Ministers within a period of one month.

In 2017, he launched his government's flagship agricultural policy, National Planting for Food and Job programme barely three months after the government was inaugurated in January.

He also rolled out his government's flagship industrialisation plan, ‘One District One Factory Policy’,  in August.

His government also launched its the National Digital Property Addressing System in October after rolling out his Free SHS policy in September.

However, given the many challenges brought about by the ‘Free SHS’, his critics believe the policy could have been delayed for better implementation.
