- Nana Addo joined millions of Ghanaians fellowship for the New Year
- The president was seen worshiping at Ridge Church in Accra
President of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, never spent New Year's Eve at the Flagstaff House.
The president took the time off his schedule to fellowship with members of his church - Ridge Church - in Accra. Together with the president was his wife, first lady Rebecca Akufo and other top government officials including the senior minister, Yaw Osarfo Marfo.
Reverend Emmanuel Aryee, minister at the Ridge Church, admonished Ghanaians to stay focused and continue to hold tight the principles of God.
Meanwhile, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams says the world will be riddled with wars and terrible times in 2018. Duncan Williams based his predictions on recent developments across the world regarding the USA and North Korea.
Leaders of both countries ended the year 2017 with disturbing threats of nuclear war against each other.
“It is my responsibility as a student of prophecy to prepare you that this earth and this world is not going to remain the same way as it is. Changes are coming [and] there are challenging times ahead,” he said.
Duncan Williams made it to the news in 2017 after attributing the declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Isreal to signs of the end times.
