Ghanaian afro-pop singer, Wiyaala, has visited her hometown of Funsi in Wa East District, in the Upper West Region of Ghana for the first time since one the town's streets was named after her.
In March of the year 2017, Ghanaian Afro-pop songstress, Wiyaala, was honored by the people of her hometown by naming one of the town's streets after her, something the artiste was very happy with and said so in a post shortly after being notified of the honors.
“My people said they had a surprise for me. Little did I know. #WIYAALA#STREET. To the people of #FUNSI #SISAALA land. My village, My home town am honoured!.Thank you.” Wrote Wiyaala after being told of the honors.

She recent went back to her hometown with the express intent to visit the street that was named after, and captured the entire incident on video so she could share it with her fans.
