Gospel diva, Joyce Blessing was involved in a car crash during the festive season that left her in coma for some hours.
The singer together with her husband and some crew members were on their way to perform at Kwahu as part of their lined up performances for the season.
Unfortunately, the group could not reach their destination as they got involved in an accident in which they sustained serious injuries.
Consequently, Joyce Blessing and her husband were hospitalized.
Zylofone Media, according to reports, dispatched actor Eddy Nartey to the accident scene to pick up the accident victim and convey here to the hospital in a Land Cruiser instead of an ambulance.
Against this backdrop, a movie producer and entertainment critic, Ola Michael, believes that Zylofone Media did not handle Joyce Blessing accident case well.
According to Ola, who was also a former PRO for FIPAG, Zylofone Media was reckless and unprofessional with they way it went about with Joyce Blessing by conveying the accident victims in a Land Cruiser rather than an ambulance.
This, Ola has indicated, was a risky and an unprofessional move by Zylofon Media, stressing that they could be held responsible Joyce Blessing had died out of that.
Ola is quoted by Ghanafou.com as saying: "So Zylofon sent Eddie Nartey to go and pick accident victims from Nsawam Gov't hospital to Accra?”
“6 accident victims in a Prado? That is sick! If Joyce had died, Zylofon should have been held responsible! Zylofon acted irresponsibly in this matter! Hate me all you can. The lives of our artistes is very important. Joyce was struggling to breathe and that is what they did?
"No ambulance? Prado? Really? Joyce was in coma for less than 24 hours and was discharged? Which hospital discharges an accident victim immediately after resuscitation from coma?"
"From 37 to Ridge hospital to Nyaho clinic, no bed for Joyce Blessing? Yet you get back to ridge and could secure a VIP bed? I'm having a headache already,” he fumed.
Meanwhile, Joyce Blessing and her husband are reportedly responding to treatment.
The ‘Heavy Price’ came under heavy criticisms for performing secular songs at big music events including the S-Concert and Stonebwoy’s Ashaiman to the World Concert all held in 2017.
Despite the criticisms, Joyce Blessing insisted that she would not stop performing secular songs because that is another way she intends to spread the gospel.
