Reports went on to state that Kojo Annan was arrested at the 31st Night Watch Night service at the Mary Mother of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church located at Airport West Residential Area. He was caught by some of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras that had been installed in the church.

It is believed that the ‘church thief’ had early on stolen a Samsung phone from one church member in the morning and had returned in the evening for another ‘operation’.

The theft that occurred in the morning led to a report being lodged at the police station for investigations to begin.

However, Kojo Annan could not escape the police when he returned to the church later in the evening to continue stealing from church members of the Mary Mother of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church.

A Police Patrol Team which was monitoring activities for the coming year were called upon and were able to nab the thief who had always been able to evade security at the church with stolen goods.

After his arrest, he led some police men to his hideout where items ranging from a Gotta phone, iPad, several passports belonging to different people, iPhone, driver’s license, several credit cards, ladies purse, three car keys and several business cards were retrieved.
