According to Adomonline.com report, the prediction was part of some 76 prophecies released by Badu Kobi, on Sunday during the 31st watch night service in 2017.

The report says the religious leader addressing his congregation categorically said that some former National Democratic Congress (NDC), officials will suffer serious humiliation in the face of the law this year.

Prophet Kobi’s prediction comes weeks after President Akufo-Addo warned to prosecute some corrupt officials under the Mahama administration.

The erstwhile Mahama administration was rocked with a number of corruption scandals including the GHC3.2 million bus branding saga, GYEEDA, Subah among others.

However, the leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), President Akufo-Addo in a run-up to the 2016 election expressed his commitment to fight corruption by ensuring that persons indicted in corrupt cases under the previous administration face the law.

As part of efforts to implement his promise, the NPP administration has hinted that a number of ‘corrupt’ NDC officials have been lined up for prosecution in 2018.

Meanwhile, Former President John Dramani Mahama has called foot soldiers of the NDC to mass up support for former NDC appointees who may be indicted in any corruption probe under the NPP government.
