- Chief pathologist at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital says the autopsy report of JB Danquah is missing
- The chief pathologist was the same pathologist who managed the body of Major Maxwell Mahama
The autopsy report of the deceased member of parliament for the Abuakwa North Constituency, JB Danquah, has gone missing.
According to the chief pathologist at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital who examined his remains, the report of JB Danquah together with thousand others got missing after a burglary.
Appearing before an Accra High Court, Dr Adusei revealed that his home was raided in September last year and a sizeable number of reports were stolen.
“Writing the report would demand additional work to be done. I need to get access to the pictures, take my time and recollect what I saw and put same into writing,” he said.
Police investigators handling the murder case are said to be struggling with their investigations since autopsy report had not been released, 21 months after the MP was murdered.
Dr Adusei was first ordered by the same court on October 10, 2017, to release the autopsy report to support police investigations.
He is the same pathologist who worked on the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama's body.
It could be recalled that another District Court in Accra, presided over by, Mr Ebenezer Kweku Ansah, on October 26, 2017, also ordered Dr Adusei to release the autopsy report on the military officer to the police.
