Leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and managing editor of the Al-Hajj newspaper, Alhaji Bature is reported dead.

So far, the cause of Mr Bature's death is not confirmed as unconfirmed reports reaching YEN.com.gh show that he fell in his bath and hit his head on the ground.
Alhaji Bature who later died in a health facility on Friday morning is reported to have been admitted before the start of 2018.
Some Ghanaians are already pouring out their tributes to the politician widely acknowledged as a strong force in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The editor in chief of the Al-Hajj newspaper was a regular panel member on Adom TV’s political talk show often clashing with NPP firebrand Kennedy Agyapong.
