- Shatta Wale is known to be the leader of the Shatta Movement
- He has a huge following across the country and even beyond the shores of Ghana
- He said his SM followers stick to their beliefs regardless of how society views them
Self-acclaimed dancehall king of Ghana, Shatta Wale, has sent a crucial message to those who come across as his haters.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Amarh Mensah, posted this message accompanied by a kingly photo of him being carried shoulder high by his fans.
He wrote on his instagram page: “Our philosophy is simple in SM "We dare to be ourselves", however frightening or strange that may be....”
The SM Boss by this post revealed that no matter how others may think of strange or frightening it may be, the Shatta Movement would always stick to what it believes in and nothing can stand in its way.
It could not be said if Shatta Wale was directly responding to an issue or he just posted this message to give details about his Shatta Movement (SM).
But the ‘Taking Over’ hit maker has raised concerns over some ‘false’ and ‘fake’ reports about him circulating in the media in recent times.
He has complained on many occasions that the media is always ready to ‘cook’ wicked stories about him to discredit him and his hard-earned Shatta brand.
Obviously tired of this attitude by bloggers, the ‘Forgetti’ hit maker in the early days of 2018 sent a warm ‘invitation’ to bloggers to come and work together with him.
He also wrote that bloggers “need to change their attitude in 2018, because their lies make him earn so much money.”
Reports have it that unlike some of his colleagues, Shatta Wale has not started 2018 on a good note.
This is because he had issues with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in which he is said to be investigated for taking an amount of $30k from organizers but failed to perform at the CAF awards event.
Also his first concert of the year, ‘Shatta Wale Live In Tema’ was also reported to be a flop because the concert had less than 500 people at the Tema Sports Staduim where the event was held.
