The founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has urged men of God to run for presidency in the 2020 general elections.
He revealed that Ghana has been in debt since the days of Kwame Nkrumah, simply because the country relied on people with academic knowledge to run the its affairs.
In an interview with Maame Akua Austin on Asempa FM on Tuesday January 9, 2018, he stated that a man of God easily be the leader of the country if he chooses to listen to the voice of God.
He further said that pastors have a mandate to turn the fortunes of the country around, and not indulge in partisan politics.
To answer the question of his perceived support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the prophet said that it is just an unfortunate perception.
Prophet Kobi explained that, his relationship with former President John Mahama has created that impression but maintained that he is not a member of the NDC.
