-Suspended NPP Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe has launched an attack on members of President Akufo-Addo's government.
-Mr Crabbe has said 80% of them are sycophants
Members of President Nana Akufo-Addo's government have come under serious attack from the suspended 2nd National Vice-Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Crabbe.
According to him, about 80 percent of the president's appointees were sycophants who would fade away because they cannot deliver in their positions.
“There are lots of sycophants around the president and the danger about it is that, it moves resources in the wrong direction. There are about 80% of sycophants around the President and with time, they will burnout like charcoal… Because it will come to a time when they will need people who can deliver,” Mr Crabbe said in an interview YEN.com.gh monitored on Starr FM on Wednesday.
Mr Crabbe went further to assess the performance of government saying none of the 110 ministers had caught his eye so far.
"I have been observing government and what I see is that things are being put in place and hopefully if we are patient, they will bear fruit [but] no minister stands out for me because I do not monitor them. I monitor how things are done collectively," YEN.com.gh heard him explain.
Mr Crabbe who was suspended somewhere in 2015 following statements he made concerning the suspension of the then National Chairman, Paul Afoko, which were deemed to have brought the party into disrepute still holds the view that his suspension is illegal despite a court ruling affirming it.
