In June last year, the Minister of Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh unveiled Ghanaian international actor, Abraham Attah as the face of the Free SHS policy that was going to begin in September.
When the unveiling was done, many Ghanaians were up in arms over the choice because there was the argument that the young star was not based in Ghana. At the time, Abraham Attah was a student in the United States of America.
Many people moved that award-winning teen actress, Maame Serwaa known in real life as Clara Benson, and other young actors based in Ghana deserved the ambassadorial position better than Abraham Attah.
