A recent report by Entertainmentgh.com suggest that Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, daughter of President Nana Akufo-Addo, has shrugged off her responsibilities as Director of the Creative Arts Council.
According to entertainmentgh.com's sources, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, who is the Director of Ghana's Creative Arts Council, a three-man team that also includes actress Bibi Bright, and Mark Okraku Mantey, has not shown up to her office in several months.
Gyankroma Akufo-Addo's appointment to the Creative Arts Council by Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Madam Cathrine Afeku was initially met with widespread criticism.
Many accused President Nana Akufo-Addo of nepotism due to his daughter being appointed to the Creative Arts Council.
But according to entertainmentgh.com's sources, it appears as though Gyankroma's no longer interested in her position at the Creative Arts Council any longer.
“She has not been seen at the office for quite a longtime, especially after the Council got its new office at the Accra Tourism Expo Center,” says a source.
Furthermore, the report says Ms. Akuffo Addo has also failed to show up for meetings of the Creative Arts Council in a long time.

“She is operating from her own office and clearly, it has nothing to do with the Council, especially when she does not show up for meetings,” says a source.
Although entertainmentgh.com has attempted to get a statement from a member of the council, Mr. Mark Okraku Mantey, he is yet to respond.
