- She received many well wishes from some colleagues and her fans for her recovery
- She has however expressed disappointment in those who believe her accident was a stunt
It was reported widely in the media during the Christmas festivities that sensational gospel musician, Joyce Blessing, had a car accident.
According to the report by YEN.com.gh, the ‘Heavy Price’ singer with her crew members including her husband were on their way to perform in the Eastern Region.
The event was dubbed ‘Bliss on the Hills’ festival which was being held at Kwahu.
But on reaching Nsawam, the vehicle in which Joyce Blessing and her entourage were traveling encountered a fatal accident.
Consequently, the team was hospitalized and Joyce Blessing reportedly spent days at the hospital when she had been billed to perform at many events.
Some event organizers who had already made payment to her went for a refund because she couldn’t honour the invitation to perform, disregarding her accident.
Thankfully, she got back on her feet and two weeks ago made a public statement through her social media handles that she was well.
She also thanked Ghanaians for supporting her throughout that dim period.
However, Joyce Blessing has disclosed that some people are doubting the authenticity of her accident.
In an interview on Hitz FM, Joyce Blessing said she is unperturbed about the many controversies that are surrounding her accident.
According to her, some people are doubting that she really had an accident in which other team members also suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized.
She lamented that even though there are pictures available to prove that her four-wheel drive got mangled beyond repairs, many people still believe that the incident was made up for a publicity stunt.
“I leave those who doubt my accident to God,” Joyce Blessing said disappointingly.
