The past year, 2017, saw the emergence of Zylofon Media as a power player in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
Zylofon, said to be owned by Nana Appiah Mensah, who is also the CEO of MenzGold, signed 10 entertainers including music artistes like Stonebwoy, Becca, and movie stars, Zynnell Zuh, Benedicta Gafah, among others.
And apart from its plush office at East Legon in Accra, it also opened offices in Kumasi and Tamale, opened a radio and television station in Accra.
These drew a lot of attention to Nana Appiah whose achievements in the last year won him the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 Peoples Choice Awards.
While many people are praising him, others have been wondering how he was going to recoup the massive investments he has made in the entertainment industry especially with the artiste signings.
One of the such people who is worried about Nana Appiah's investment has taken to Instagram raise concerns.
In a private message to the Zylofon boss which he shared on social media, the unidentified person plainly advised Nana Appiah to stop wasting his money on Ghanaian celebrities and channel it on more profitable ventures.
According to the sender, those celebrities he is spending millions on will just squander his money and make him broke and he should learn from what happened to telecommunication network, Glo when they signed several top Ghanaian entertainers as ambassadors years back.

Nana Appiah has been in the news in the past year for what could be described as his extravagant lifestyle.
Apart the massive investments in the entertainment industry, he is known to have donated $10,10,000 to veteran Highlife artiste, Jewel Ackah among other philanthropic gestures.
He has been reported to own a $41 million private jet and has a fleet of expensive cars including a gold-plated Bentley.
