- The US president has been reported as describing Africa as a "shithole"
- This derogatory statement by Trump follows the death of a Ghanaian soldier in the US who died risking his life to save victims of a fire
The world has been struck with shock and anger following recent controversial description of Africa and Haiti as a "shithole" by the US president, Donald J. Trump.
The world's most powerful president is reported to have made such derogatory remarks about foreigners during a secret meeting at the White house which subsequently got leaked to the media.
Interestingly, the comments of Donald Trump follow the unfortunate death of a Ghanaian soldier, Emmanuel Mensah who died in the brave attempt to rescue victims of a fire outbreak.
“He brought four people out. When he went to bring a fifth person out, the fire caught up with him", Twum Bredu, his uncle told the New York Times.
So far, Donald Trump has fiercely denied these reports of using foul language against immigrants of colour despite anger and outrage against him by news makers across the globe.
The death of Emmanuel Mensah was dragged up for debate by some Americans who argue the US president has just lost touch with reality.
One such person is American neoconservative political analyst and commentator, Bill Kristol who took to his Twitter page remembering the death of the fallen soldier.
As it stands now, the comments by Donald Trump has been seen to confirm reports of the deepened attempt by the Trump administration to enforce strict and tight regulation on the migration policy.
