- Ghanaian musician, EL, has reacted in anger over a list of top hip-hop artistes for the year 2017
- The list was allegedly released by XXL Africa Magazine, a South African entertainment journal.
- Sarkodie and M.anifest were the only Ghanaians who made it into the list
Popular Ghanaian music artiste, Elorm Adablah, popularly known as EL, took social media platform, Twitter by storm when he exploded in anger over a list allegedly released by XXL Africa Magazine, a South African entertainment journal.
The musician, who has reportedly tagged himself as the ‘Best African Rapper’ (BAR), expressed his disappointment in the list and therefore resorted to the use of unprintable words to express his anger.
The only Ghanaians added to the list, which is said to be a compilation of the top 10 hip-hop artistes for the year 2017 were Sarkodie and M.anifest.
Sarkodie took the second position whiles M.anifest took the last spot. Asa, from South Africa took the top spot followed by Sarkodie and Cassper Nyovest, who is also from South Africa.
Phyno from Nigeria was ranked 4th whilst Nasty C, also from South Africa, took the 5th position.
The 6th position went to Mi Abaga, from Nigeria and Kwesta, also from South Africa, was ranked number 7.
The final three positions went to Ice Prince from Nigeria, Emtee from South Africa and M.anifest from Ghana.
Meanwhile E.L has released ‘Ayeyi’ featuring Dope Nation to debut this year with God at its forefront.
‘Ayeyi’ which means ‘Praise’ in the Twi dialect basically talks about how grateful he is to God for bringing him this far.
