The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has claimed that former President John Mahama, lacks basic leadership qualities.
According to him, the ex-president had the opportunity to lead the country, but woefully failed in that respect.
Describing him as the “Ghana’s worst president in history”, the NPP chairman, also known as Chairman Wontumi stated in an interview with Neat FM that Mahama “was born to be a follower…he is not a leader, he failed the whole country when he had the opportunity to lead.”
Chairman Wontumi also noted that President Akufo-Addo has proven to Ghanaians that he can be trusted to lead the country.
Explaining his point, he stated that “President Nana Addo’s vision to include other political members who are capable to work for Ghana tells how serious he is to move this country forward”.
Touching on the nomination of Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor, he said that it shows the determination of the president to fight corruption.
