The two religious leaders have been engaged in an exchange of words, allegedly in a bid to exhibit their spiritual powers.

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that Prophet Owusu Bempah, who is the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministries, threatened to collapse Prophet Badu Kobi’s church, the Glorious Wave Church.

His reason, YEN.com.gh has learnt, is that his ‘son’, prophet Kobi, sought power from other deities, which was contrary to his advice.

Prophet Kobi, in his reponse, said that he has accepted the decision of his spiritual father, and therefore thanked him for helping him grow spiritually.

According to sources, followers of the two men of God have made it difficult for the two to smoke the peace pipe.

Otumfuo Ahenenana Hene, Nana Kwame Mensah Bonsu who was in Accra for the mediation talks expressed disappointment in the men of God.

He stated that the friction being created is rather destroying the name of Jesus Christ whom they proclaim to serve.

“Badu Kobi is my nephew so I chastised him for his conduct; I also met with Prophet Owusu Bempah and I have asked them to ceasefire” he noted.

Nana Mensah Bonsu called on followers of both pastors to desist from inflaming passions for peace to prevail.
