The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has reportedly been beaten up by irate party members in Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo Region.

According to a recent report by Ghanaweb.com, the controversial NPP youth organizer was scheduled to meet certain party executives in Atebubu, in the Brong Ahafo Region.
The report has it that the irate NPP members pounced on Abronye DC over recent "unsavory" comments, although the specific comments are yet to be reported.
Mr. Kwame Baffoe, who's popularly known as ABronye DC, has made several allegations against high ranking ruling party members, some of which alleged that the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremh, has involved himself in corrupt transactions.

It appears that these allegations - among others - have made him a target to disgruntled party members. According to an eyewitness, Abronye DC's assailants not only gave him a severe beating, but they also saw fit to vandalize his vehicle.
The witness said the outspoken Brong Ahafo Youth Organizer's beatings were so bad that he was almost sent into a coma. He was later helped by "good Samaritans" who rushed him to a hospital, where he was put on admission.

An eyewitness says Abronye DC's injuries reportedly include a dislocated shoulder an a fractured arm.
“The Doctor said his arm is broken and his shoulder has dislocated so he was referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. Another person who was accompanying him also got his share of the beatings. Abronye as we talk cannot speak and he is very helpless," said a witness.
