According to a report sighted on zionfelix.net, the music body revealed that the collation was done by a logging system company in Ghana known as Kisema.
The body also indicated that the count did not feature the number of times the songs were played at events which were not on radio.
The list of 20 songs that was released did not include any gospel song an indication of the music preference of many radio listeners in Ghana. Some popular names including Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy made the list.
The list was howeve topped by female dancehall act, Ebony Reigns with her song “Sponsor” being the most played song on radio.
Some songs from new artistes also featured on the list including Kuami Eugene’s “Angela” King Promise’ “Oh Yeah”, Patapaa’s “One Corner” and Kidi’s “Odo”.
