You Ghanaian artiste, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known has Kidi, has revealed that he used to plough his trade and sing in ice cream joints and received as little as GHC5 for his performances.
Every artist or entertainer who can boast of a successful career had to start from somewhere. While some have been fortunate enough to have had their breakthrough with relatively little struggle, others have had to struggle and persevere with nothing but the faith in their own talent
Nevertheless, this is the story of Kidi. Speaking in a recent interview published on attractivemustapha.com, the young artist related that prior to wining MTN's nationwide talent show he used to play his guitar and sing at ice cream joints for as little as GHC5.

Contrary to rumors that he attained national fame overnight, the young but up and coming musical sensation revealed that beginnings of his career was anything but rosy.
However since his MTN Hitmaker days, Kidi has gone on to release hit songs like "Say You Love Me" and "Odo", both of which have been great successes in the airwaves.
The young musical sensation we went on to advise artists who're still trying to make a big impact in Ghanaian entertainment industry to be consistent, and continue to believe in their passions while they wait for their breakthrough.
