The numerous talent possessed by youngsters in Nigerian and Africa as a whole is definitely something to be proud of. From innovative ideas to purely artistic talents, the list doesn't seem to end.
Earlier on, YEN.com.gh reported the news of a talented Tanzanian teenage boy who built a solar-powered robot. Identified as Gracious Ephraim, he constructed the device which can walk and turn its head. It can also sing and say a few pre-recorded phrases.
While we are still yet to recover from this impressive feat from such a young boy, yet another teenage boy has left the internet marveled at his wonderful artistic skills. According to reports, the boy who is yet to be identified drew a lovely mermaid family using just one natural element of the earth.
The boy who is believed to still be in secondary school was pictured surrounded by his awe-struck classmates as he showcased his talents. Using just sand, he drew what looked like a mermaid family comprising the father, mother and a cute little daughter.
Although this is just one boy's story, there are so many talented children out there waiting to be recognized and supported by their families and friends. We can all agree that when it comes to career choices, Nigeria as a country today has greatly improved in the area of being more diverse about career paths. This is when compared to a few years ago when medicine, law and engineering were the only considered professions.
We hope to see many more talented kids who are not afraid to pursue their dreams!
